Transitioning treatments deeply rooted in our nation's history and tradition

This implies transitioning is a deeply rooted tradition, which would be cool, but obviously that's not what they mean

These thumb-headed fascist theocrats are so fuckin stupid they won't even know basic English composition

idk, but let's base our entire system of living on a small cabal of geriatric white guys trying to interpret poorly written shit like this!

seriously, this is such a good microcosm of constitutional law and jurisprudence.

It’s worded awkwardly but theyre saying there’s no precedence in our history for a right to transition and therefore you’re not entitled to have it now.

Holy fuck they need to learn how to order the parts of their sentence. “The right to transitioning treatments is not rooted in our nation’s history and tradition, for anyone - adult or child” is a much less ambiguous way to say that horrifically ghoulish and evil sentence that they should’ve been hanged for writing.

        here

"there is no right to transition, and that distinct lack of a right is part of our deeply rooted tradition"

it's incoherent because LACK of something is not tradition, unless you count the long bloody history of minority enslavement and persecution as "tradition"

What they are attempting to say is because trans people "didnt exist" in the past and the right to trans care wasn't mentioned in the constitution, your medical care isn't protected.
