        Everyone getting their own train car would be so wasteful.

        ...And also way more efficient than actual cars. Wow cars are bad.

      Honestly, if we were talking about something like a low-cost electric version of the Smart ForTwo or some such, and it was meant as a transitional phase until all of our damn suburban sprawl and car-centric infrastructure is dismantled and replaced with proper public transit and sane urban planning, it's not a terrible idea (aside from questions like "where do we get the lithium for those battery packs," etc.)... But I doubt that's what these chodes have in mind.

        those dutch tiny car things (the electric version) would be ideal
        really easy to modify for various disabilities, which is what they were designed for
        and very small
