    I'm going to have a friend staying with me for a while, so I'm excited to see what we'll cook together! We're both vegan and love cooking. I hope she shows me some recipes I can add to my rotation

      That’s awesome! I’ve been staying over at some relatives (who aren’t vegan) so I’ve had to deal with the customary carnist questioning:

      • why are you vegan?
      • wait you can’t have even this thing?
      • cmon, you can have a little bit.

      Etc etc etc.
