Narcissism and Bazinga brainworms would be my guess. That, or there are parts of the capitalist class that is not impressed with the blob's handling of foreign politics and they're pushing back on this latest misadventure in the making.

Elites have disagreements among themselves all the time. A lot of them are very dissatisfied by the extremists running the Ukraine project. If the GOP wins next week, it's open season on the blob. They can cut off funding for the war. They can also use the power of subpoena to investigate crimes, starting with the Bidens. Hunter was on the board of directors of Burisma, Ukraine's energy giant, for no reason other than he was Dementia Joe's failson.

It was pretty wild watching all the libs roll there eyes at you when you'd suggest that the Vice President and now President's son having a sinecure nepotism position on the state energy company board of a country that the President is actively meddling in is some kind of dangerous, compromising corruption.

"How much is Putin paying you to say that?"

You know you've made a solid point when that's their only argument.

These sanctions, proxy war, and cold war on China are fucking a lot of very rich people up, and have probably bumped a lot of disgustingly rich people into just extremely rich. Just talking out my ass, I don't think capital is happy about US foreign policy if they don't have their finger in the weapons pie.
