I see it promoted mostly by the same kinds of people who will talk to you about men needing to reclaim power and how all this shit is weak minded, lowers your testosterone(bullshit) and gives power to women. It's always seemed like a funnel that tries to turn pornography into a "women are the devil" kind of attitude that must be resisted (and in future, controlled) so I guess the two go hand in hand.
