I discussed this with a North American lib and he was so ecstatic with this year's vote, he literally called these results "breathtaking" lol while commenting how "eloquent" the US reasoning for it was. I replied that still the rest of the world does not agree and that the US' excuse is "free speech" therefore Nazis can be glorified, but he called that... "irrelevant to the reason why the REST of the advanced world decided to vote along the US line a year later". BTW, reason being that the whole vote is just "Russian disinformation".

Western libs and their "advanced world", therefore they should call all the shots...just infuriating.

They cannot understand why the global south would much rather side with BRICS than their filthy oppressive condescending imperial asses

So they use the traditional western cultural practice of white supremacy and racism as a substitute for understanding

Liberals: "Russia is fascist and we must stand against fascism!"

Russia UN ambassador: "Do you support this amendment to combat fascism?"

    Liberals: "No!"

I believe that the faction in Mali represented by the UN delegate is not the same faction currently being bankrolled by Russia. Might want to fact check that though

Armenia and Azerbaijan can agree on it; India and Pakistan can agree on it. Israel even supports it right alongside Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan.

That tells you it's not controversial unless you are deep in the pockets of Nazis.

This got posted to GreenandPleasant where 100+ comments invaded from shills to pose this as a vote that only started this year and that the voters only voted against it because it's just an attempt by Russia to justify the war in Ukraine, which is complete bullshit given that this vote has been occurring for a decade now.

It's cleaned up now by the modteam but they were a massive pain in the ass.

Pretty sure it's not natural. Almost all of them were first time posters.

After the war is over they're going to claim that they have to vote against this forever because it's just a method Russia use to start wars.

surprised that brazil voted yeah as bolsonaro is the president until january but he has been getting some flak over the openly nazi shit some of his coup protesters were doing so i guess that probably made him not want to vote no on it
