Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.

They're going from control of both houses and the executive (the presidency) to control of just one house at best. Their ability to get anything done has been reduced from 100% ability to get things done to 0% ability to get things done, and they're cracking champagne and congratulating themselves about it.
To be fair that is kind of an ideal outcome for a party that doesn't want to get anything done.
"This dude who had been talking all year about how he's gonna behead me has only cut my limbs off instead! Bring out the mimosas! Tomorrow's brunch is on me!"
(though I think the worst parts of the admin will either have bipartisan support or Biden will magically get over his fear of using executive orders just for those things, leaving any good things in the dust, so it's less than the Dems are truly disabled but more that they now have no pressure at all to try and do good things - the ideal state for the Democrats to be in.)
