The objective laws of viral transmission mean that any shift away from a Zero-COVID elimination strategy carries with it the potential for the situation to quickly spiral out of control.

    I was not aware of the western MSM doing a Parenti moment against China (suddenly arguing that the ending of COVID restrictions is bad).

    I do argue with you calling me a "fucking chauvinist". I am Chinese, and I have family in China who I care about, some of whom are frail and would likely die from COVID. That is the reason I care about this, not because I am an enraged westerner who wants to criticize China for the sake of criticism.
