One of the smartest communists I know, and a good friend of mine is Brazilian. I gotta say It feels nice to not have the usual suspects getting to semi finals but It is bittersweet
More like gonezil.
Although I feel some chud brain will come up with some theories “when leftist in office football bad, when rightist football good”
historically untrue though lula first term was 2002 which is also the last world cup we won
Not like they didn’t suck in 2018 either. :shrug-outta-hecks: but didn’t 7:1 have like political consequences, or am I misremembering something I’ve read?
New game where you pick a random fascist around the world and try pin it to Germany
Yes, but only non-yanks/euros are allowed to repeat that meme cuz y'all filled yourself to the brim with nazis too.
Some just happen to have very good administrative skills for experimental international entities like NATO
like kinda but not really like we love to say that 7:1 was the start of everything bad but the dilma impeachment was either already complete or going through which meant was not the acting president anymore, like there is probably a connection some where to the ammount of psychos with brazilian jerseys and that event but we were already going down this path the win would probably be just nice
Like don't worry, losing a world cup that badly at home was to brazil much like losing ww1 to the germans, it is just hard to tell the exact impact, like bolsonaro was already in play before that, and maybe if we didn't eat shit that hard people nothing would have happened bolsonaro would have lost to haddad and i didn't need to have like the worst 4 years of my life but WHO KNOWS
Just take a look at the goal Croatia scored
It's :chefs-kiss: Brazil counterattacking with all their midfielders, guys are jogging back when Croatia has a 4v4 going on. How about just holding the lead and coasting into the the semis?
WE SCORED, WE SCORED! I'M A GREAT COACH. QUICK, I GOTTA HIT MY VAPE!
Why is the announcer giving play by play like he's doing a radio broadcast?
Guess it's his style? French language commentators are usually pretty hyped up.
Maybe it is for French language broadcasts? I've never heard one before. In the English and Spanish broadcasts I've watched they usually don't describe the action in that much detail.
that's the correct way to do it, just recap what goes on on the pitch, but in a super excited voice so people think something's happening even though they're watching a game of football
Now Argentina can loose against the Amigara Swamp Germans without people burning down the Obelisco
Tho I think the Obelisco is lame as fuck
