Chambered for .410 bore shotgun shells, or .45 colt rounds. Named after Taurus found that Florida Judges where using the weapon as a daily carry.
The only good reason I can think of to own something like this (apart from just thinking it's cool) is if you hike and/or work outside in areas with lots of venomous snakes?
For hiking the only thing I'd want to carry is a 10mm like a Glock 20. Over twice the capacity of a revolver, still enough punch to stop a bear or mountain lion, easily controlled. Rattle snakes around here mind their own business unless you stumble upon them, and they're so well-camouflaged that you usually don't see them until you're within striking distance.
I was thinking if you're in an area with snakes but no big cats or bears.
My dad had .38 caliber shells with some kind of pellets encased in a matrix. Snake charmer I think he called it? Anyway you don't need shotgun shells to shoot a snake. You just leave it the fuck alone, snakes don't like to interact with people and only bite when cornered.
When you want a gun that’s worse in almost every conceivable way because it’s cool.
Datz gud and proppa Orky. WAAAGH :guts-rage:
This gun is perfect for when you want to shoot someone at point blank range, completely miss and break your wrist.
I used to have the Taurus M66 seven shot .357mag revolver, can confirm. Broken wrist is one of the better case scenarios.
In payday 2 this can launch people across rooms. All shotguns can but this is one of the best concealable shotguns I think.
Lol ive shot one of these before, buddy has one.
The .410 shells do in fact have quite a kick, its pretty fun.
