I know this may cause some friction because the lines can get blurry with what is actually anime and what isn't (Voltron: Defender of the Universe being a chopped up editing job combining two different JP anime and to some extent Robotech doing that with Macross) but that's part of the fun. :troll:

          Throughout my 20s, I was shedding off a lot of liberalism through a combination of comradeship with fellow workers while working to pay my way through college and also attending enough Silicon Valley area "futurology" conferences and events to realize just how murderously fucked up the ideology is, both at the present moment and in its projected trajectory.

          It also helped in my thirties to be working for a school district that was actively and aggressively making education worse for both students and teachers under pretenses of "reform."
