So while I don’t like the current state of Israel, it’s infinitely better than a state of Palestine. When this ethnic cleansing is over, the West Bank and Gaza are fully annexed and integrated with a majority Jewish population, educated Israeli citizens will be disgusted with the way that Israel historically treated Palestinians. Eventually, just as blacks got their rights slowly and through internal struggle, so will Palestinians in Israel.
Shit like this is exactly why I think that the only true form of decolonization is to send the colonist back from whence he came. The very existence of the settler colonial states is proof positive that you can do whatever heinous genocidal crimes you want now and your grand children will enjoy all the benefits consequence-free, especially if they pretend to be a bit sad that it happened.
