Listening to ATC can be fun. I was tuning in one day and heard the controller hang up abruptly, then a few seconds later she responded and there was raucous laughter in the background. You could tell somebody just told a really good joke. In general, professional radio operators are good at keeping very cool and mechanically professional, but occasionally you get to peer through the cracks.
