So spooky :specter: so very benignly spooky. :specter-global:

The technology, invented in 1951, is used all over the world by science organizations like NASA and the European Space Agency to observe the earth's topography.

    Leaked pentagon docs

gotta spam the search engines with bullshit so actually finding any damaging information from real leaks is harder

Shit I guess I should stop robbing these trains under cover of cloud

That's how Google Earth can show you what the earth looks like without clouds, as far as I know. I might actually be completely wrong, idk. I guess they could always wait for a non-cloudy moment to take a picture.

Nah, they just use False Color (infrared and whatnot) and SAR (microwaves can penetrate clouds and bounce back, allowing you to 'see' through it).

Highly recommend these two NASA pages for learning more:

            • https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/learn/backgrounders/what-is-sar

This example of False Color for a satellite image of Bangor is a good example , the cloud obscures the northern part of the city under red light, but you can see 'past' it if you look at the shortwave infrared light.

yeah they use images from other companies. Which have to be taken at some point.

Most NASA satellites for climate data and geological scans use this technology. This is a very "scary" way of describing a type of sensor for meteorological and geology stuff. Something totally understandable to have on a weather balloon.

The ballon named "omega-chinese-overlord-killoon 69" has been discovered to be shooting invisible laser beams turning the frogs gay and watching u while u sleep. More at 11.

    Scientific value to SAR:

    • measure the amount of ice cover and water on the ground during these arctic weather events
    • measure ground wind speed from ocean waves
    • measure erosion which can be significant during these events

Isn't it weird how you rarely see "leaked" documents from almost any other country, but in the US things get leaked every other day like a it's a new episode of The Simpsons

I mean, the US media has made a sport out of journalism such that "leaked" material has extra ratings cache.

There are lots of other countries that don't have this weird looking-though-a-hole-into-the-ladies-room fetishization of news media. Countries in which reading the news is like taking a shit, not losing your virginity.

But when we've made everything such a spectacle, the "leak" is what you need to make what we already kinda knew appealing enough to watch ads in between getting the grisley details.

When you systemically kneecap your population to make them desperate so they enlist for [basic living necessities], beat honesty, integrity, and "protecting the constiution", and then shit on all of that as a function of the military's purpose. It isn't condusive for loyalty.

As the Simpsons, it makes a joke out of the whole growing up in America thing :lenin-crush-capitalism: .
