The protesters surrounded the police building and the pigs are claiming that the 18 cops inside were held against their will for the 7 hours that the protest lasted. It's clearly bullshit.

Maybe standing around a police station, which is "nono!" if you do it, but if police stands around your house or block before firebombing it it is a big "yesyes!" (or the police black sites over the US).
I want to underline this as example for something different, too. In the science of Marxism the reaction is highlighted often, often in the sense of state repression we see here. It'll take not a long time for the PSL or similar to be made illegal and their wealth be put into the care of the state, as was done with plenty leftist groups in the US, France, the UK, and Germany, too. This I wanted to underline to counteract the lib argument of just building dual power in peace without politics or without organization. Sooner or later the state will hit you and take away progress if you tried to create something within the existing structures. Don't forget it.
I have no idea what those could be for. One of them is even charged with false imprisonment which I can not even begin to imagine how came to be. But, of course, the police department's justifications don't matter because this is literally all fake. PSL has been a very organized force and has been careful, none of these BS charges add up.
