Really feeling that 2024's political dichotomy is normal people vs unhinged people. Everybody but Biden is gonna be unhinged, even the "moderate" 1% polling reps because it's unhinged to be campaigning when that unpopular, so Biden, especially with his incumbency, will be the default "normal" candidate, and amid all the memery, "this is all chaos and I just want 'normalcy'" might be the prevailing sensibility in November. I'd argue that 2022 implies this.

      >looking for a new president

      >ask the polling attendant if the candidates are normal or unhinged

      >she doesn't understand >pull out illustrated diagram explaing what is normal and what is unhinged

      >she laughs and says "they're good candidates sir"

      >go to vote

      >they're all unhinged

How :joker-troll: is it that Biden is the least unhinged, then?

I don’t disagree but the election is an eternity away. I still think it’s a safe bet trump would have won in 20 if not for Covid and that only happened 7-8 months before the general election…. If it was today I think Biden would win against trump but it’s entirely possible something could happen that makes the rust belt (the only voting block in the country that matters lol) want trump back
