The US and UK are definitely not heading anywhere good. Wherever you go, I can understand not organizing publicly, but I would recommend becoming familiar with Tor and maybe figure out if there's a way you can help people back in the US/UK.

Worst case scenario you get to live abroad for a while. That sounds great.
I think that relocating to another country is very hard and you'd be leaving whatever support systems you currently have.
If you have the financial means, then sure, but I don't think a lot of us have that choice
