Bluesky is a very liberal place. A wildly pro-Elon guy is a very rare bird. He's like a wild flamingo somehow showing up in Portland. He deleted all his posts in that thread - https://subium.com/profile/nay2gas.bsky.social/posts-and-replies

And he's only been at the site ~20h but ~500 people are already blocking him - https://clearsky.app/nay2gas.bsky.social

Bluesky is a very liberal place. He’s a very rare bird. He’s like a wild flamingo somehow showing up in Portland.

I see. I bailed out of the twitter dumpster fire months ago and never got into bsky. The resurrection of reactionary accounts, the obnoxious condescending Ukraine flag fetishists, the NAFO cockroach brigades, and fascist U.S. Constitution copulators with Christian cross emojis as far as the eye sees became too much (but right-wing trash are the most persecuted and censored smolbeans in known history ofc)

My blocklist was thousands of accounts, like many thousands.

And he’s only been at the site ~20h but ~500 people are already blocking him

Damn lol, when you're too insufferably lib even for the libs!

For some reason I can never just lurk at a site - if I'm there - I post. But I'm trying to change my ways at Bluesky to be mostly a lurker. I've had hardly any conversations. In fact - I've had very few replies. And the Bluesky format and algos are shitty. Navigating the site is often no fun for me. It would be cool if could look at the top posts for that day but there's no way to do that. And I miss the ability to hide ~20 posts with one click like my Reddit bookmark used to let me do.

At least at Reddit libs will lecture you how you're wrong. But Bluesky is very different. Because there's no downvote button - they go crazy with the block feature. I know a comparatively huge number of people are blocking me. And I wonder how many have muted me. There's no way to know.
