I'm honestly stunned that a corporation as large as McDonald's would do something so blatantly, indefensibly illegal. This is the kind of shit a stupid small business kulak tries to pull before getting sued into oblivion.

edit: Never mind, it was a franchisee (i.e. small business tyrant). Still terrible, but at least they're dumb enough to open themselves to lawsuits and bad publicity.

It's unclear where the sign originated, but it seems likely it was hung in a single McDonald's franchise, as there's no way a global corporation like McDonald's would ever be so brazen as to post something so unhinged. But wherever it came from, it has left people online slack-jawed for its audacity.
