It feels like the Toronto Star comment section in here sometimes when MAID is brought up so I think it's important people read about the other side of things instead of just hearing "it's to kill all the homeless"

    I don't think anyone here is against the right to bodily autonomy its just that the Canadian model is super flawed and that it is used as a way to kill people simply because continued treatment is uneconomical.

    Also it kind of feels like this family are mad because they didn't make arrangements until the last second.

      It's almost comic, what a shame for those who suffered unnecessarily. I wish there was a modicum of reslonsibility to improve maid.

      Yeah, the last few times we did deep dives most people agree that bodily autonomy and the right to die are good and important, but MaiD is de-facto Aktion T-4 because many disabled people literally cannot afford to live in Canada.
