I think the stemlord takes make a bit more sense when you remember that, as much as everyone likes to dunk on on here, this place did ultimately come from a subreddit. It might have been a somewhat less cringe subreddit, but becoming vaguely leftist doesn't automatically free you from Reddit Thought
