Btw there's a TON of sanctimonious lib accounts saying similar shit about uwu wholesome Biden reaching out to Mitch to ask if he's ok, Teidrich was just the most overtly stupid. And yes I know he's low hanging fruit.

To be clear I'm seeing TONS of libs on the threads for this on reddit gladly celebrate the idea of Mitch possibly dying so he's not even right lol. I didnt look at the replies much but there's a few "you dont speak for me"s in there too.

Civility is starving millions of people in your own country and billions across the globe, as long as you wear a suit and don't cuss on TV while doing it.

And letting hundreds of thousands die to Covid, to Insulin costs etc. etc.

While I understand the human aspect of not wanting ill of people and how some sense of connection is important in parliamentary democratic system the solidarity with bourgeosie elites is stronger than with us and our like dying.

Curious how many of the same people saying stuff like this go all in on hoping people in red states die for voting for republicans like they did with the Norfolk-Southern train-derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

I live in one of the few blue cities in Texas and get so fucking heated when libs say shit like that. We did our vote duty, but it wasn't hard enough for our lives and well-being to matter to lib ghouls that probably live in fucking SF or NYC, capitalist dens of evil.

It's Saturday morning cartoons to them. The good guys and bad guys don't actually hurt each other at the end of the episode just in case they have a redemption. The republican politicians always have a way to be good.

Also like in Saturday morning cartoons, not a lot of attention is paid to the collateral damage when the good guys and bad guys fight.

I had to steer my kid away from Spidey and his amazing friends because it's literally that. Green Goblin commits terrorism in the park so he's going in time out

Don't know how serious you're being, but my come to Jesus moment was a Thor story where he befriended a death row inmate (Thor was serving time in US prison willingly because that's what heroes do) and on the day of the inmate's execution, Thor travels across the universe to find a rare fruit for the guy's last meal.

The dude enjoys it and expresses regret for not having met Thor sooner and the god, with the power to literally destroy planets, lets the inmate (who was a person of color of course) get executed.

In liberal society there's nothing wrong with what I described. Even Thor respects the process. But then you can't kill the Red Skull because that makes you just as bad as them.

Media illiteracy has a larger impact on Western politics than we'd like to admit.

I wish I was only kidding, it's funny because of how gross it is. I have vague memories of superman serving time too?

Even the powerful respect our institutions founded on wholesome justice and betterment of society, when it's really just a tool to keep us in line and the occasional theater where a rich guy gets house arrest for a couple months.

Good intentions here I swear - it makes me wonder if the writers were allowed to unionize because they play along with capitalists and feed us this shit writing I grew up on.

There's a comic where Superman is protesting climate change

              You know

The space man that is basically a god is just PROTESTING climate change. With signs and everything

              Terminal lib brain

There's a Superman comic where he harasses a bunch of alien refugees trying to flee from a space dictatorship. He literally just shows up and starts lecturing them about how they're a bunch of space illegal immigrants and how they need to respect US border laws. "What if Superman worked for ICE?"

Damn superman could just push the planet a bit further from the sun couldn't he?

I hope he'd wait for congress to put together a bipartisan bill so he could effect such a change, to save the world without the consent of the oligarchs might not be in their best interests!

John Fetterman isn't the one who smugly fought against healthcare reform time after time. The false equivalencies need to stop. It's so tired

When Lizzy croaked, I went to the Irish expat club/pub to celebrate. How do I celebrate this thing dying?

I was at my local pub when it happened. The whole place went quiet and everyone crowded around the TV. Someone was crying and one old bastard went "Gawd save the king!!!" (I am not joking).

I made an audible retching noise, got up and left. Some of my "friends" were saying, "Oh no, you can't be like that" blah blah blah, to which I said, "yes I can, and you aren't going to stop me".

      Fucking pathetic, the whole thing

Bring up Rand Paul and watch their "bipartisanship" dry up and disappear. Or what's the guy's name, the Republican who was shot by that Bernie bro on the baseball field? He didn't die, but he got fucked up bigtime.

Or just bring up the fact that they're siding with the DC establishment against the interests of the people. It probably won't work, but remember comments are for those not participating in the discussion.
