It almost feels like bait, most western Marxists I know online with even an ounce of prominence (online) are careful about trying to obscure their real life identities. Making a post while president of a non-communist org that already has a target on its back and is definitely surveilled by reactionaries already frothing at the mouth in a country that has had multiple red scares and laws on the books outlawing communism? I just don't get why you'd do that as it just draws additional ire and attention. Like if she was already out as a Marxist fine, don't deny it but also no need to go screaming it in something that seems like it was tailor-written for outraging reactionaries. Show it don't say it.
