To be charitable, or at least examine a more interesting argument, he may be referring to the desire for there to be a "clean political victory" in order to minimize the risk of a subsequent legal challenge or threat of violence. To this argument I respond, "You fucking moron, nothing about this election is going to be seen as clean by anyone and the right wing has progressed past the need for any legitimacy beyond intimidation and violence. Have you been paying attention in any way to the last several months?"
