They really stepped up the quality, even though it was already up to 11. They actually went to Cambodia to visit historical sites and conduct interviews. Soundtrack is also amazing! I really recommend to anyone who's been a fan of the previous seasons.

Pol Pot's original name, Saloth Sar, sounds like a villain from the Elder Scrolls or some shit.

How soul crushing is it so far?

I really love the quality and care that go into Blowback but some of the shit they talk about is hard for me to stomach and fucks me up mentally for awhile after I hear it. The air raid shelter massacre in Iraq from S1 was actually traumatic to learn about

It was pretty mild until halfway through episode 3. It's only a 15 second snippet but I have a feeling that description of the long-term effects of agent orange exposure is gonna stick for a while, among other things of course.

Thanks. Different show, but some of the stuff in Death Is Just Around The Corner's Farben Files and Fourth Reich series really fucked me up too so fair warning to anyone that's gonna listen to that

Visited a museum in Vietnam entirely dedicated to the stuff as a child and it shaped my development for life. Same with Laos/uxo

Is there a good site to listen to Blowback? Been meaning to check it out for some time.

Tried checking out the first season the other day and the sites I found it on had embedded ads and I couldn't get through the first quarter of the episode before technical difficulties followed by an authentication wall, so kind of lost interest.
