The last true Anglo-Saxon king, who was famously killed doing battle against William The Conqueror. He's the guy on the Bayeux Tapestry with the arrow in his eye (this is now disputed)... but I feel like people know him as the arrow in the eye guy.

I went as low effort succubus (assorted goth stuff plus a horned crown, just things i had in my wardrobe already, i didn't even bother with particularly elaborate makeup).
ngl walking down the street and seeing my shadow with the horns on felt fucking powerful, and i did get a lot of compliments for them as well. Didn't poke anybody's eyes out on accident, either.
