Obviously you gotta look out for any news, landing pages, texts, water cooler conversations, TV in general, electronics, opening your eyes, and the town crier but how long could you realistically go?

I think it's rare for their to be an "official" winner declared in the news anymore in the first 24 hours, especially in the age of "they stole the election!" claims. when I was young, we always found out the night of the election. now it's like a couple of days when we are told who probably won, followed by weeks of court challenges and attempted recounts and no one conceding.
if it's decisively over before the week is out with no court cases, I'll be surprised.
