The logic of accumulation, the banking model of education, and the logic of capitalist bureaucracy is all the ideological conviction that forceful imposition of the quantitative onto the qualitative turns all qualities into quantities. Thus they are obviously essentially endowed in their qualities, look at their quantities!!!
It's the same logic as American Evangelicals: I'm obviously a good person because I'm successful which means God loves me, therefore everything I do must be good and I'll make up whatever theology/morality to justify my actions. If I fuck up it's a momentary lapse and doesn't reflect on my character, but if I see "those people" fucking up (based on my morality) it's a reflection of their degeneracy.
In every circle of Libs that I have to see, this is the prevailing opinion. It's not that they could be wrong at all. It's just that Trump voters are stupid and racist. And if we somehow just mindlessly pump more money into E D U C A T I O N then they'll all become Libs too, easy peasy. They think they've got it all figured out and they still don't understand that going to college doesn't magically make you liberal, being from a socioeconomic class that allows you to attend college and integrate into collegiate social groups does.
