My friend is a member of the LGBT community and lives with her partner and her partner's brother. The house is owned by the partner. The brother is a CHUD, just sits in his room all day and is a (at least from what I can tell) alt right adjacent if not a full on q fanatic/neo nazi.

Recently my friend and the brother have been getting into rows. The brother can't accept why the friend would be happy trump lost, friend can't understand how the brother would vote to harm the people he lived with.

Does anyone have advice or tactics on how she can have a meaningful conversation with the brother? Maybe a video she can watch or something she can read to help her gain some tools to ease the animosity in her household?

Thanks

Peyton Manning is sick, gave me nightmares as a Chiefs fan.

Coming from a former Chud myself, a lot of Chuds already understand the inherent inequalities in America, but have the wrong targets for who to blame. Talking about the 2000's era would probably give them the most leverage, as most Chuds will be receptive to Bush hate over Trump/Reagan hate, and they can throw in plenty of Obama criticisms too.

That is something interesting about the Chud mindset too, they tend to have a weird homogenized view of the left, with Anita Sarkisian and Karl Marx and Hillary Clinton all lumped into this big team to take down the white man. Making your points as clear and as simple as possible, separating yourself from libs, and trying to find common ground is great.

A big common ground between Leftists and Chuds is the idea of the global elite, with the difference being leftists identifying this elite as the rich, and Chuds identifying it as a secret Jewish cabal who seek to take christ out of Christmas. But talk about how rent sucks, the job market is tough, airport security is a pain, there really is so much common ground.

Sorry if this is really incoherent and flow of thought, but its crazy to think where I was back then to where I am now. Good luck, and remember sometimes people's only enemy is themselves.
