:agony: :agony: :agony: and specifically hilarious because one of the big X-Men writers was Canadian and depicted our shitty government as a grim dystopia seeking to undermine its own group of bootlicking fed-approved superheroes. (Not that anybody should read Alpha Flight ever, for thousands of reasons, but its message of "Ottawa wants to fuck you over" was tolerable.)
