    Is the game played asynchronously/how long does it take?

    I haven't played Diplomacy before, but I'm def interested

      It's basically one turn per week, movements are simultaneous, everyone puts in their orders and then the turn happens. The time in between is talk between players both in group and public. It's mostly a mind game, it takes a while but you play it a bit at a time

      Yeah that's the one you're in, I think the actual moves are very simple, armies move one on land, boats move one on water or water-adjacent land. The trick is that everyone moves at the same time, and you need to convince your opponents to help you defend or attack.
