Its a shame to see the IP being used for cynical political reasons detatched and counter to the orginal soviets who made that IP, who while critical of the USSR still existed within it and advocated for a lot of its good too.

I grew up with Strugatsky bros' books and I love them deeply. Though I don't really consider Stalker to be the same IP, it's "inspired by" at best.
The books are here to stay, thankfully, and so are the older games. The dipshit devs won't take them away. And the new one is a write-off.
