And his "What should a new Marxist do" (or something along those lines, idk my memory isn't sharp) put to rest a whole bunch of my personal anxieties.
Hearing a guy that has been on the direct, receiving end of western imperialism (He's Iraqi, IIRC) offer the most detailed critique of the western imperial power structures is instantly disarming for radlibs who turn a blind eye to the evils of warmongering for the sake of "human rights".
