MCU specifically, I LOVE that shit, LOVE it.
Every lefty on my TL is making fun of those movies and labeling people who enjoy them as mindless consumers or whatever, while I'm like "FUCK YEAH THREE INCARNATIONS OF SPIDER-MAN & DAREDEVIL ARE IN THE NEXT SPIDER-MAN MOVIE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO."
Like, I know it's dumb, but it really brings me that immense childish joy that I get nowhere else.

i speak super generally when i say punk, so i'll say bands like Against Me!, Thursday, Off Minor, Converge, Against All Authority, Rye Coalition, Kid Crash, Dead Kennedys, I Robot, Orchid, Nine Eleven, Melt-Banana, On The Might of Princes, Moss Icon, Ostraca, Senza, The Blood Brothers, The Locust etc. A lot of these are hardcore, screamo, and emo bands, jsyk.

I really like these albums. They do a good job of capturing the "idk what's going on, but war and evangicals suck" vibe of the mid-00's.
