          Yeah, but I barely remember it because I was like 8 years old when it came out. I really should rewatch it sometime.

            oh yeah it's definitely worth a rewatch. it's reaally annoying how there's no way to watch it with the original soundtrack though; all the versions now don't have the unlicensed pop soundtrack, although the first two seasons of original airings do exist last I checked. oh god i'm such a nerd about this and I can't stop.

                it's literally not.... like, it seems like nobody was taping daria when it came on, or at least nobody who did is cool enough to upload it/knows that it has to be user-created and torrented. so like, there was a project at one point to take the existing original broadcast eps and redub higher quality versions of the songs themselves the same way over the dvd video and audio and basically make a high quality version of the original, but they stopped after season 2 and as far as I can tell there's no trail on TV rips for anything beyond seasons 1 and 2 anyways. I first started keeping an eye out for it like.... idk like 10 years ago when I realized that I really couldn't even watch a shitty home taped VHS version of the original broadcast. There are some old daria fansites that do have some info about the songs but i think at least one of them went down and is only available from wayback machine. but yeah I'm real mad that nobody was really quite aware of how big a deal the songs were during the airing of the last three seasons. I encourage you to do your own research, don't trust the mainstream DVDrip media, the truth is out there, I want to believe. please president xi, return good pop music daria back to the people of america.

                    omg I thought the Daria Restoration Project had ended in like 2012ish, I thought I remembered reading a post about how they couldn't find complete source material for later seasons. But I just got it downloaded and holy shit!!! Daria Dance Party with all the real music!!!!!!! Aaaaah I'm so glad you told me. I stopped looking for it anymore a lonnnnng time ago.

                  That's actually really interesting, I had no idea that there's like an entire lost version of Daria, I just assumed that it was such a popular show that there would be no way.

                    apparently I'm a big ol dummy!!!!! I WAS WRONG AND I LOVE ITTTTTTT

                    And like, everyone was kinda thinking the same thing about it while it was airing. Nobody really realized that they weren't securing the rights for future releases until it was too late and there wasn't much people could do by then because MTV also stopped airing it really fast (I think it might've been something to do with them not doing music videos anymore too, not sure about that, but they also started doing all their stupid reality tv stuff around then too)
