    Ok but is eliminating fatess not a good thing?

    Plus-sized people are valid, they deserve love and respect, and they have the right to do what they want with their bodies, of course. But like... it's still less healthy than not being fat? Would it not be a better state of affairs if fewer people were overweight?

    Like I'm genuinely asking if I'm off base someone please educate me here

      I don't think you can "eliminate fatness" in any industrialized society where folks aren't living under the threat of famine.

      Fat people aren't stigmatized because people care so much about their health.
