too lazy for a full write up but he ruled. i’ll answer Qs about him i guess. tbh i started making this bc my brain thought today was the 100 years anniversary but then i realized that didnt add up (he was elected governor of Yucatan in 1921 so thats probably where i got 100 from)

    What is his legacy in the Yucatan? Is he revered or vilified or something else?

      he’s seen very positively though a lot of his legacy was erased. like other revolutionary symbols his image was co-opted and canonized by PRI. his party even got go be in power again a long time after he was executed but they had libbed out by then.

      the rich people still hate him of course
