Where do Americans keep getting the idea that Cornwall isn't reactionary? its litterally one of the highest conservative voting counties of the UK.
Americans see this map and just assume that Wales and Cornwall are as cool as the others.
I resent Wales being lumped in with Cornwall.
Wales > Ireland > Scotland > Cornwall
Wales is the only Celtic nation that is actually culturally Celtic in any meaningful way, and deserves its place at the top of the coolness hierarchy
There are some based Welsh folk, see Desolation Radio, but from listening to their show, it seems like there's a long way to go for the Welsh nation to regain self-confidence and assert itself independently of English cultural and political hegemony.
Cornwall is one of the most right wing, reactionary places in the UK. Only the home counties and East Anglia are worse.
Cornwall has never once in history voted Labour, and has never had more than 1 Labour MP at any time in history (making it almost certainly the most consistently right wing county in the UK) and right now is represented by 100% Tory MPs.
Cornwall can get in the fuckin sea tbh
