What would be the best policies to incentivize density and putting an end to wasteful suburban sprawl?

    Honestly, you just need to build new homes for people and then remove the toxic materials from the suburbs. Remove the electronics, hvac stuff, maybe the insulation. Important recyclables like copper. Blacktop can just be left there to degrade, plants will take it over in less than 10 years.

    Really the kicker is the construction of quality mass housing alongside quality mass transit, and doing all of these things without shitting a fuck ton of co2 into the atmosphere

      The creation and curing of concrete releases a massive amount of CO2 I into the atmosphere, so that'll be a huge part of the new pollutants released.

      Asphalt can be recycled if we need roads or sidewalks elsewhere. Basically they just dig it up and re-melt it
