    Most places have a vegan options, but sometimes that means eating just plain fries or a salad ;___;

    PETA has a fast food/chain restaurant guide that's updated every month - https://www.peta.org/living/food/chain-restaurants/ The companies themselves send PETA the info, and some (Wendy's and Burger King do this) consult with PETA on their menu to provide better options for vegan customers. Which is good, even I hate fast food.

    oh and always ask if their fries/chips are vegan safe. Some companies (KFC, Wendys, In N Out, White Castle, etc) will have to switch to use Vegan -safe oil because their other oil isn't vegan. Just a heads up.

    Here's my fast food experience in Western Canada

    A&W has the only fast food vegan burger that I think is actually good, but it's really expensive. Burger King has a cheap but really plain veggie burger. At Mcdonalds I get fries and apple pies, because literally everything else has meat or cheese. At subway I get a toasted sub with every veggie and like 2 non-dairy sauces to make a oily leafy monstrosity. KFC recently came out with a plant based chicken burger that I think is pretty okay. The bean burritos at taco time are so plain I can't deal with it, but the mexi fries are great.

    Ikea has vegan hot dogs for 75 cents. Pretty sure they're vegan but might be just vegetarian. Whatever - it's only 75 cents and 3 of them gets the job done.
