Had an idea that it'd be cool to make some comms to scrape and archive some subreddits for top posts and add top comments into the body text so we could peanut gallery the reddit brain or use it for other reasons. I figured it'd be good to give us some fun material to mock in real time but also round out some of the content here for potential users that hate reddit users but still use it for like news and cat photos. Thoughts?
Of course I'm an idiot and don't know how to do any of that but I thought i'd share it if anyone else liked it, especially anyone with those skills.
yes but more than that - what if we can get that some reddit-tier news article to dunk on. What if we have something that posts the top posts on politics that you can go to and surf for recruitment or propaganda purposes. This is more about realtime and automated curation of the reddit hivemind for our amusement as opposed to looking at a stupid thing someone said on twitter.
