Since this morning I've heard at least three people on CNN and MSNBC call Hamas "animals". The most recent was a minute ago by the Israeli ambassador to the US.

This is some scary shit. Nearly a quarter of the entire population of the Gaza Strip.

Shortly after the ground war starts in earnest - I fully expect two things. Israel to commit war crimes. And as news leaks of the crimes - the US media starts vigorously trying to "explain" how war crimes aren't actually war crimes but necessary to end Hamas. I expect a particular phrases to be used all the time like "Israel has been forced to undertake a necessary evil."

U.S. media just needs to say the magic word, “Iran,” and all atrocities be forgotten.

They will never report on it in the media and posts on social medka covering them will be removed or called propaganda.

Might not even need to remove it. Just put a tag claiming it's propaganda from a bad country and libs will do the rest of the leg work.

The war crimes have already begun, even if you discount the occupation. Collective punishment, biological warfare. This will just cause the bodies to pile higher

I can't see any way for this to not end in a blood bath for both the IOF and Palestinians. How much air support can the IOF seriously expect to apply once they've got thousands of troops on the streets being hit with molotovs, rocks, and small gunfire? Is Israel going to take buildings down on top of IOF troops?

The US sent to the region to discourage exactly what you're implying.

I did my best tried to verify it but I wouldn't put it past MSNBC to grab increased viewership via what they later mention on an obscure page on their website to be an "error".

[Edit: a minute of googling is not a heroic effort.]

It's like 20% of the total population of Gaza. It's going to be a total shit show. Urban warfare at high densities generally doesn't go well for the attacker

Yeah, they're going to abandon doing a "slow" genocide now. It wasn't actually all that slow, but compared to what is coming it probably was. They have their excuse now and they are going to butcher people on an unprecedented scale, which really is saying something considering how many precedents they have set. They were already looking for a reason to do this.

It's gonna be a massacre. I just hope the Palestinian people do all they can to not go down without a fight.

This is just transparent propaganda in order to demoralize. The Zionist entity has to station troops on the northern border in order to deter Hezbollah (it doesn't actually matter whether Hezbollah actually commits troops even though they have shown all signs that they would do so) as well as the West Bank, which has already seen riots and various military stations attacked by militants.

Yeah, it's only scary if you pretend Hezbollah and the West Bank didn't exist. Hezbollah had already send a deputy commander to hell. They're not going to stand by and watch as the IOF invade Gaza. And as we've seen numerous time where the IOF mistakenly shoot at each other, they are filled with jumpy incompetent cowards. They're not going to successfully pull off this invasion without eating complete shit. Why do you think the Zionists resort to air bombings? It's because their military is "casualty adverse" ie full of cowards.

In the end, I'm sure their hands-on experience shoving 80 year old grannies to the ground and blowing the kneecaps of 8 year old boys will help them wage urban warfare in an area that's almost as dense as Hong Kong against people who are forced to live there their entire lives.
