    Everything about the western response to this is withering.

    I don't think I have ever seen such a concerted amount of propaganda in my life. It is absolutely god awful. It makes me want to scream.

      Follow your heart and use your head. You're allowed to disagree with "your country's" response.

      Also, fact check. A LOT of misinformation and propoganda flowing right now

      Remember, it's not your personal responsibility to convince everyone of your beliefs. Don't beat yourself up over that, no matter what happens.

        Yeah, I understand that. What is getting me down is seeing how intense the propaganda machine is.

        That said, the actual grassroots responses I am seeing (the few that I have either overheard or asked for) are mostly on Palestine's side.

          I'm old enough to remember the post-9/11 freakout as an adult. All of this is extremely reminiscent of that. Of course now there's much more capable independent media capabilities, fortunately. There wasn't even youtube back then.

    When Israel did this recently people just started writing "Palestinian flag" on pieces of cloth and waving them around

    Knit one if you have to, or make one from old boxershorts and towels
