Hell yeah! I remember it being a thing when it came out, and then the musical or whatever, but it’s pretty cool. I’m kinda reading in a manner like “ok, the Frank L Baum books are American Great Depression, so these Wicked books are like the Gilded Age right previous to it”. The book even has stuff about droughts in Oz’s breadbasket region.
