I always find it wild that first world SocDems and DemSocs love to rest on the laurels of meager concessions wrung from the plutocrats decades ago

Concessions that only had the urgency they did because of the viable threat of communist revolution!

Oh the capitalists are even more powerful now and have less external leftist pressure and increasing material wealth that they use on arms and the security apparatus and propaganda, I guess they know it's in their best interest to compromise a little for reduced profit, if there's one thing we know it's that business as a whole is willing to forego profit for the benefit of everyone which is why capitalism will solve the climate crisis."
