The liberal mind, entirely unable to understand that there doesn't have to be another evil that's as evil as the US for the world to make sense. Others may have client states. But not because the US's client states need to be balanced in a kind of mirror image. I want to say it's not a quadratic equation but my maths isn't really good enough to know if that's what I'm trying to say. I'll say this: even when the evidence clearly shows there's only one bad side, libs gonna be looking for another side to both sides bad the situation. I think some people call this Marvel brain. They misinterpret it as nuance.

ukraine is totally a client state, but a relatively new one. older client states include Fake Korea, Colombia (especially in the Plan Columbia era), pre-revolutionary Iran, pre-revolutionary Cuba, Iraq, Afghanistan. the list is long. the MIC does a lot of business.

israel has been the VIP "key account" for a long time. the lucky strike account, if you will.

      Iraq

Was it ever really though? The government they installed post-2003 was so ineffectual and became so dominated by Iran that I'm not sure it counts.

Massive I-was-saying in my own theoretical reply to that, too. Yes I do criticize such dubious "aid" especially when there's so many excuses given for why the local poor need to keep eating shit.

South Korea is not an American colony. Examine your own conscience when you make statements like this. Did you say it about south Vietnam?

It's just a thing that some people do as a rebuttal of the antisemitic use of the parentheses.
