Why have you forsaken me, Chapo?
I miss when the megathreads were active.
Yeah. I think he might have continued it in some of his later works he co-wrote like Curse Of Yig, but my memory's hazy on that.
Shut the fuck up, you dumb piece of shit. Jesus. People are saying it's more complicated than your euro-centric, western media-addled brain. Disingenuous fucking hack.
Sorry, but the dude in Paranormal Activity is a day trader. Thus it is reactionary. Also, did anyone here see the Japanese Paranormal Activity film? It was pretty whatever, but interesting that it exists nonetheless.
All of humanity in Lovecraft are descendants of an alien slave race, which is kinda of a cool, weird subversion of the racial superiority humans feel against each other and animals. That's right, I'm saying it: Lovecraft was woke, actually.
Westerners are projecting their fucked up dynamics of race, culture, and language onto China instead of actually understanding the dynamics there ont heir own terms.
It's actually Phoenixes Down, like passersby.
At least half of everything that hits hot on r/RelationshipAdvice is fake and/or trolling.
Someone should re-translate the subs (ignoring the actual Japanese meaning) and re-cut it to reframe it to reveal its imperialist nature more explicitly.
They're doing it in Canada too.
No to the Anti-Communist Monument! No to Black Ribbon Day!: Information Picket Against the Glorification of Nazism
I guess so. I've never heard of it before, but if Singh says he's been called it in his book then I guess it is.
OG Deus Ex basically mashes together both far-right and far-left ideologies and conspiracy theories (one of the lead designers said this in a GDC talk), which makes parts of it surprisingly cool and others really bad. I'm not sure if I'm biased, but I found the right-wing stuff easier to ignore.
You're 100% right. Going half-way on these things gives them the "oppression" and "authoritarianism" they need to continue their persecution complex while doing nothing to actually limit and discourage hate and ideology like their's on the internet.
The usage of chud has gone from the US/imperial core-specific kind of depraved reactionary to all liberals now, I see.
Socialism isn't just handing people free money like the government does for the rich. It makes it seem like all we need to do is just print off imaginary money for workers and the economy will be saved rather than transform the entire formation of the mode of production. The phrase also obscures class dynamics. It'd be more illuminating to say that the government/state is the arm of the dominant capitalist class rather than this "socialism for the rich" sloganeering.
I'd imagine it'd be a parabolic relationship between angle and ablation, so 0 degrees and 90 degrees would generate roughly equivalent amounts of ablation while 45 would be the optimal angle for eroding the asteroid.
Yeah, I really didn't get how people took it so seriously and didn't get the jokes. I know it avoided the obvious setup-punchline jokes and the involvement of people like Jaden Smith voice acting in it made it seem like it might be seriously pretentious, but the entire structure of the show and the recurring jokes really make it obvious that it's an intentionally "bad" comedy.
Your entire post history reveals the ignorance of a first-world leftist.
