Giving myself goodpost license mods do not bully

The album is weird. It's basically one of those oddities from the early days of the German psych/krautrock scene. You can think of it as more of an experiment than anything else.

Oh yeah I haven't tried making menemen yet but from what I understand of it, it's the same basic ingredients as shakshuka, except that the eggs are scrambled into the mix. The convenience to taste ratio on these dishes is amazing.

Thanks, it's actually really easy to make. I chopped up an onion, bell pepper, green chilli pepper, and two cloves of garlic, sauteed them for a couple of minutes with paprika, salt, pepper and turmeric powder, then dropped in a can of chopped tomatoes, stirred to mix, made two holes in the sauce for the eggs, covered the pan and waited a few minutes for the eggs to cook. Topped it up with chopped fresh parsley, you can also add crumbled feta on top, but I had none left in the fridge so I skipped it. Takes like 20 minutes from start to finish and tastes real good. I'm in a similar situation. Good job and relatively well-off parents that I have a great relationship with and can support me in case of emergency. I know a bunch of people on the other side, working 12 hour shifts in low-pay retail jobs while the store loudspeaker is droning on about wellness and breathing exercises and I realize I'd probably just fucking die if I were in their shoes. It's just mind-boggling.

  • Yeah it's an uphill battle up a vertical slope. The sometimes crippling symptoms themselves are already making it difficult to perform basic human things properly let alone organize, and when you factor in society treating your existence as a nuisance because your ability to produce value for capitalists is impaired it just gets worse and worse. I realize how lucky and privileged I am to be functional enough to hold a job and afford mental health services, yet I still wake up in a state of existential dread on a regular basis. It's terrifying to think how much worse it can get, we all deserve better than being stuck alienated in a nightmare world.

I don't know what to say other than solidarity and if you ever feel like playing some v*deogames I'm down meow-hug

  • My family used to watch X-Files when I was a child. I remember seeing an episode where they enter a house with bugs crawling all over the walls, getting scared then running out of the room whenever I heard the intro tune coming up. And covering my eyes if I had to be in the same room as a TV with the show on. Saw some random episodes years later and it turns out it was pretty good actually, iirc I even ended up rewatching the bug house episode that made me run away in horror as a kid. I should probably watch it properly in full one of these days.

  • I was on a Discord server with some people who went full chud over the years and I still remember this exchange:

Chud 1: I started playing Stardew Valley with my girlfriend

    Chud 2: What's that?

Chud 2: [Posts a screencap of some random article about same-sex marriage in SDV]

    Chud 2: Ah. Woke crap.

You don't find that article by simply googling "Stardew Valley" and checking the first page. These people's brains are so melted by chuddery that their first instinct when hearing about a game for the first time is specifically looking up if it is woke.
