goofy, extremely terminally-online question
Is it reasonable to expect someone to keep track of everything the people they follow on Twitter say? to the point that if they still follow someone after they say something awful, they should be blocked? (this is in relation to the woman who posted the racist uncle ruckus/clarence thomas meme) like, if someone follows several THOUSAND people and doesn't IMMEDIATELY unfollow a problematic person after they out themselves as problematic, is that grounds for doing away with them entirely? some of my moots have been purging their follows of anyone who still follows Aforementioned Racist Woman but all the peeps I follow who follow ARW seem to follow basically everybody? and i follow like 100 people and even i can't keep tabs on every single person every damn day
i know I'm devoting entirely too much brainpower to this, just looking for opinions
that was my thought too. i follow some lolbertarian pages on FB because they post some extremely deranged and dunkable shit that makes me laugh. i think people take social media too seriously in general.
