While I do find your intentions admirable. Personality changes of that caliber are very difficult, especially when society looks down on such intimate proximity —especially if you're a man :bear-despair:

The man has a PhD in a STEM field. My friends (all educated professionals) have all had it multiple times and regularly go out to bars and whatnot. It’s infuriating.

Is poor noble sob fest that common of a backstory? You'd think there wouldn't be that many people empathizing with noblefolk. Not that I should be complaining, my first (and only) D&D character was sort-of a disgraced nobleman.
Deff Skwadron was one, though admittedly I never read it. Personally, I'd like to read an ork story, the author needs to give them a sufficiently evil antagonist for them to chop up or riddle with holes, and this being 40k there isn't exactly a lack of them.

Shouldn't it be the reverse? Feudalism and capitalism overcame the tyranny of nature through technology and organization. Communism - especially higher communism - then overcomes the tyranny of capitalism - of man.
Haven't read any articles, watched a YT vid or two, the apps seems really damaging to someone's self esteem and wallet. It being one of the leading causes for the changes the cnn article talks about is unsurprising.
